“ Came on a thursday lunchtime. No line luckily. Mix of hawaiian/Filipino influence breakfast food. Lox bagel with hashbrowns 4/5 normal but yummy Bbq sauce Lechon Kawali with egg over rice 5/5 This was my dish. Lechon Kawali with bbq sauce reminded me of a version of burnt ends in a way. Very delicious. I would come back. Parking is small on the front side of restaurant. you can park in a slightly different area on the same lot that has more parking on the other side of the restaurant. ”
“ Every time I come to Honolulu I have to stop by YogurStory!! This week my family and I stopped by multiple times like maniacs, mostly because their ube pancakes are so damn good!! Service & Vibe: We visited twice with a group of 12 and later with a group of 6. Both times we walked in around opening time and didn't have to wait at all. Everyone got water, coffee, and menus right away, so we were all happy campers from the start. The restaurant is clean and this "new" location they're in is quite spacious with tons of big tables. Food: While we all came for the pancakes, we found that the savory plates were also super delicious too! If you had to choose 1 thing on the menu though, I would say that the pancakes are truly the star of the show. They're bouncy, fluffy, and have the right amount of sweetness and ube flavor! I'm usually not even a sweets guy, but have been literally thinking about these pancakes since I ate them, and I'm already back on the mainland! The portions are big so you can split the pancakes then something small if you don't want to be overwhelmed with sugar while still enjoying their signature dish. Enjoy and be sure to get plenty of ube pancakes. Remember that if you go overboard, you can always do some laps around Walmart and Don Quijote after. :) Enjoy!! ”
“ Still amazing food all around! Staff is XO super friendly and helpful w/ ordering. Clean and local music playing. Consistently amazing. ”
“ Time and time again I've visited Yogurstory and they. Do. Not. Disappoint! The restaurant was recently renovated to accommodate all downstairs seating. You can't go wrong with their famous Ube pancakes in that devilishly good Ube sauce. Another favorite is their Pulehu ribs and Portuguese sausage. Fair warning/tip: the food is very heavy so you better walk after you eat here lol. 10/10!!! ”
“ YogurStory has been a part of my life for over 10 years at this point. A good friend had invited me out to this place way back when the specialty was the ube pancakes/waffles. Since then, the menu has expanded to include a large selection of sweet and savory items, ones you'll leave wanting more. My go to for years has been the prime rib logo moco. Just something about that char that they get on there that adds to each bite. I tend to take the rest home as it's such a big plate, it's a challenge to finish, but boy does it make good seconds. Recently, I learned through IG that they came out with a smash burger. Quarter pound beef patty burger with fries that taste absolutely delightful, but as I was talking to my wife about this burger and comparing it to the ones we make at home we realized that while we make a pretty good one, there is one particular thing that sticks out that we haven't even attempted let alone mastered. The sauce. YogurStory smash burgers have either created or sourced a sauce that reminded me of the Chick-fil-A sauce and it left my plate CLEARED at the end of the meal. Regardless of what you order, I feel like YogurStory has the opportunity to seize a lifetime of success. Hopefully making an impact as big as Like Like drive in had back in the day. My only tip is to check into the wait-list via Yelp before you even head in their direction if it's during peak hours so you have time to find parking and don't have to wait as long. ”
